Letter to U22 Players and Parents from Ron Reed – GM West Durham Ironheads Jr B 

Dear Toronto Beaches U22 players and parents,

I hope this message finds you well and thriving in your passion for lacrosse.

Welcome to the Junior/U22 lacrosse age group. This group is the same as both Junior A and B (ages 17 to 21).

The Ironheads, who are the Jr. B affiliate of the Beaches Jr. A team, are looking forward to affiliating with the Beaches U22 team.

The objective is to have all players in this age group play as much lacrosse as possible, which should help build for the years ahead at all three levels: U22, Junior B and Junior A.

We are hoping to see everyone out at the Junior B runs. If a player does not make the Jr. A or B team it is hoped that they will play for the U22, where they may have an opportunity to be called up for either of the Junior teams.  All players must be registered with the Ironheads to be eligible to go on the floor for any Junior tryouts. (see link below). All players must be registered with a minor U22 club to be eligible. Some of the advantages of playing U22 lacrosse:

1)      You can be called up to play Junior B or A

2)      You play more lacrosse as the U22 season plays into August and has three scheduled tournaments
