2026 Boy’s Fall Sixes

Preliminary Information and Expression of Interest

Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Club Families,

We are excited for another Fall Sixes lacrosse season!

We would like to offer Sixes at the U9, U11, U13, U15, and U17 age groups.

There will be no games or practices played on Labour Day or Thanksgiving weekend.

Tryout Information

Toronto Beaches is hoping to offer a Sixes rep program for as many ages as possible. If there is a need to hold tryouts they will be held during the first week of September.

Dates & Practice Schedule

Practices will be held at Cherry Beach fields with current tentative practice days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.  Teams will practice twice a week, and specific practice days/times for each team will be finalized once we have confirmation of the number of teams our club will be registering. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable practice times for all teams and ages.

The Sixes season will start in late August with some optional ‘warm-up’ practice sessions.  Team practices/games (or tryouts as needed) will start the first week of September, and the season will end with the Provincial Championships the weekend of October 17-18, 2026 (Hamilton). Games can take place on weeknights and weekends, and will involve travel to other locations across the province (e.g., Orangeville, Elora, Whitby etc.).   Where possible, the club will aim to schedule games on weekends and during our scheduled practice nights to interfere less with other sport commitments. There will be a scheduling meeting with the OLA later in the summer, and we will be in a position to share game scheduling information for each team shortly after that.

There will not be any games or practices scheduled on Labour Day weekend or Thanksgiving weekend.

Expression of Interest

Parents and athletes should consider their ability to commit to the full season (September and October) including attending provincial championships.  At this time, we ask that all players planning to play Sixes this season express their interest using the following survey.  Registration details for the season will be shared once we have more information from the OLA.  We will certainly provide updated information as soon as we receive it.
